The Offer:
What I am offering is a website for professionals, a virtual pamphlet, if you will. Many of you have a website from 1990-something, and it needs a face lift. I want to make it as easy on you as possible. So I offer easy pricing, free initial consultation and a great search engine optimized website.
The Website:
I will design a unique custom made website for your company. I will use your logo and your content to update your online presence. The website will use the powerful content management system (CMS) WordPress, used by millions of websites from bloggers to fortune 500 companies. This creates an easy to use back-end for the content of your site. The advantage here is that you can easily learn how to update content yourself, or you can outsource the work, but the price will be reduced because of the ease of use.
Search Engine Optimization:
Search engine optimization, or SEO is just what it says, making a website the best it can be for the search engines like Google, Yahoo and others. This will be done in several ways on your website form proper URL structure to an XML sitemap. I have been marketing websites through search engines for over 6 years, and I am very good at it. Your site will be designed from the ground up with not only your clients in mind, but also the search engines. This is yet another great feature of WordPress, it has been design for SEO and I will put all those great features to work for your website.
Initial Consultation:
If you are in MN, near the Twin Cities, we should meet in person, otherwise we can do it via phone or email. This is the best way for me to understand your company, and what you need from a website. In the initial consultation we will the basic site architecture, in other words what will be on the site and what we want people to do once they get their. We will decide on some basic color and design concepts, allowing for a first mock-up to be created. If you are ready to proceed I will need a 50% payment to continue. I will layout a time-line for the project and we will be in touch.
Pricing:
My price is as straight forward as I can get it, $2,000. This includes your custom designed theme on a WordPress CMS with up to 7 pages of your content added to the site. This price does NOT include your domain name (about $10/y), Web hosting (about $100/y), content creation or custom graphics/logo. I can write content and create graphics for additional fees, I also have a large network of outsources for almost any web-related aspect.
